From window drives to wind deflectors: D+H can provide you with a comprehensive range of certified SHEV products, all of which have been meticulously tested.

The Euro SHEV system, compliant with EN 12101-2, is D+H's complete smoke and heat exhaust ventilation solution - and therefore your one-step solution for a certified SHEV system. No matter whether you need safe stairwell smoke extraction in office premises, or sophisticated SHEV systems for shopping centres, railway stations and football stadiums, we can provide made-to-measure solutions to meet the requirements of a multiplicity of applications. D+H uses AdComNet bus communications, especially where complex smoke extraction and ventilation systems are required. AdComNet can be implemented and run quickly and efficiently.

Active climate façades for sustainable construction

Controlled natural ventilation (CNV) using mechanically operated windows ensures air can be exchanged automatically using natural resources such as wind and thermal airflows. The unobtrusive electromechanical drives open and close windows and roof lights completely automatically. This keeps indoor spaces fresh, and at a comfortable temperature, and provides effective cooling at night in summer, whilst significantly reducing energy costs and all for a relatively low initial investment.

In everyday use, they also provide effective, controlled ventilation: thanks to the integrated, continuous ventilation function and generously designed opening widths, these systems provide effective ventilation, no matter which direction the wind is blowing in, whilst using a minimum of electricity.

For more than 45 years D+H has been a byword for pioneering and innovative, high-quality products for every aspect of smoke extraction and natural ventilation. Its extensive product range covers a multitude of application areas and highly individual requirements.

Drives

Electromechanical window drives are used to operate windows, and SHEV and ventilation flaps on façades and roofs. These ensure levels of smoke extraction that comply with DIN EN 12101-2 or provide controlled natural ventilation: we offer a multiplicity of chain drives, rack and pinion drives and louvre drives with a wide variety of options and performance features to suit almost every type of window or aperture.

Ideal for use as integrated or mounted installations, in large-scale projects or in individual dwellings: The range of uses, the simple yet effective functionality, and their elegant design and compact construction, make our drives stand out from the rest. By using only high-quality materials, robust designs and mature technology we can guarantee the reliability of our products throughout their long service life.

Controllers

Intelligent SHEV and ventilation control panels analyse signals from the components connected to them and control the D+H drives on ventilation flaps and façade windows to position them accurately.

If a fire occurs, SHEV control panels open the roof and façade windows to keep escape routes free of smoke. Control panels for natural ventilation activate the drives on ventilation flaps and façade windows, ensuring a pleasant and consistent atmosphere indoors. Our products range from compact units for individual rooms up to sophisticated, highly complex SHEV systems for large buildings: we can provide just what you need!
